Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a contract between you and Leap Design Studio LLC, doing business as Kuaa ("Kuaa," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of Kuaa's mobile apps, websites, and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services. We may update these Terms; when we do, the effective date above will change. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Services

Kuaa offers personalized daily guidance and related tools based on information you provide—such as chart-related inputs, location context, and conversations with an assistant. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Not professional advice

Kuaa is for reflection and everyday planning support. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Nothing in the Services diagnoses conditions, prescribes treatment, or replaces qualified professionals. If you need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.

Artificial intelligence

Some outputs are generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for how you interpret or act on suggestions. Do not rely on Kuaa as your sole source for decisions with serious consequences.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must meet any minimum age stated in our Privacy Policy or required by the platform where you downloaded Kuaa.

Your content

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant Kuaa a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate the Services and deliver features you request—including sending relevant portions to AI or hosting vendors solely to produce the response or feature output you asked for, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your personal content to train AI models without your consent.

Do not upload unlawful content, malware, others' private information without permission, or anything that infringes intellectual-property rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Probe, interfere with, or circumvent security or usage limits;
  • Use the Services to harass, harm, or deceive others;
  • Scrape, resell, or build a competing product using automated means against our consent;
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • Use the Services in violation of law or platform rules.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Kuaa offers a paid subscription, Kuaa Plus, billed at US $8 per month. Kuaa Plus unlocks features reserved for subscribers (such as friend readings and space analysis) and includes a monthly allowance of AI-generated requests. The free tier remains available with limited access. The price, billing cycle, and current allowance are shown to you before you complete a purchase.

  • Auto-renewal. Kuaa Plus renews automatically at the end of each monthly billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Where you subscribe. On the web, Kuaa Plus is billed through our payment processor, Stripe. In the mobile app, subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store where that option is available.
  • Cancellation. Cancel web subscriptions from the billing section in your account (which opens the Stripe customer portal). Cancel App Store subscriptions from your device (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.
  • Refunds. Stripe-billed payments are handled by us under applicable law. App Store purchases are subject to Apple's payment and refund policies — contact Apple directly for those billing disputes or refunds.
  • AI allowance. The monthly allowance resets each billing period and does not carry over. The allowance exists to keep the Services sustainable; the current limit is shown in your account.
  • Promotional codes. Redeemable codes grant promotional access to Kuaa Plus at no charge for a set period. They are not a purchase, carry no cash value, and may be limited or withdrawn.
  • Price changes. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price change. Continued use of a paid subscription after the new price takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated price.

Third-party services

The Services may link to or integrate third-party sites or providers (for example sign-in with Google or cloud infrastructure). Their terms and privacy policies apply to those interactions.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEAP DESIGN STUDIO LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Leap Design Studio LLC and its affiliates against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or law, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue all or part of the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You and Leap Design Studio LLC agree that any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue there, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence gives you a right to bring a claim locally that cannot be waived by contract.

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Leap Design Studio LLC regarding the Services and supersede prior understandings on this subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
